Meteotemplate api update time

Post by mchd17 »

I have updated my meteobridge. I have noticed that the meteotemplate api will not update anything less than 1 minute. I had it updating fine at 30 seconds. I have 30 second selected in mb. It does fine at 1 minute and greater. Is this a recent bug?

I have checked Live Data. Meteotemplate shows success at 1 minute intervals, that's with the api setting at 30 seconds. I have tried 20 second and 10 second.....no change, stays at 1 minute updates

well, another issue has arised today. we had strong winds come through. both of my davis consoles show a max wind of 60 mph, meteobridge live data history shows max of 53.9 mph today. Meteotemplate showed a max wind of 51 mph. All other sites i upload to show max wind gust of 53.9. I can adjust Meteotemplate database to match the 53.9 at the right time, but why isnt meteobridge capturing my max of 60 mph? I didn't want to start another thread, i thought maybe everything here could be related.

thanks

So both Davis consoles and MB are reading data from a single anemometer? Is MB reading the ISS via RF or through one of the consoles, via RF or cable? All output values are MPH, any chance of Knots in any of those?

both davis consoles reading data from single anemometer. Meteobridge (weatherbridge from ambient weather) connected to davis vp2 console, vue console not connected to internet. I am using anemometer transmitter, seperate from ISS. No setting as knots, all mph. Been running same setup since installed on March 2018. First issue that i have noticed. I am also running WL on separate laptop, reading through MB, WL shows high wind speed of 60 mph at same time MB shows a max of 53.9 and the same time meteotemplate shows 51 mph

Still no updates at 30 second intervals on meteotemplate when I have that selected in MB. So I have shutdown laptop that is running WL, then selected 30 second Update Interval for meteotemplate and rebooted MB. Meteotemplate updates at 30 second intervals. I changed MB to update intervals of 10 seconds, did not work. Rebooted MB, still no 10 second interval. It was updating meteotemplate at 30 seconds. Changed update interval back to 30 seconds, rebooted MB, and it updated meteotemplate at 30 seconds. I powered on laptop, started WL, and MB is updating meteotemplate at 30 seconds. So I guess I will let it be and see what happens now.

When no fresh data coming in from weather station, the no update will be done to meteotemplate. Meteobridge avoids duplicate uploads.
