Meteostick air pressure: Spikes, normalizeing

Hello,
I'm running a meteostick to read the VP2 since 2017. It is read out from a Linux server with plain shell scripts.
Now, I,ve time to make some software for visualizing. But here I've currently two problems:
1. I've sporadic spikes in the pressure, see attached image LD001.png. The problem exists since 2007, but noticed only yet. The stick is connected with a 1m USB cable to the computer (was shipped with the stick). I've tried different positions and putting some ferrite cores on the USB-cable near the stick.
1.1 The firmware of the stick is 2.3b1. If a firmware update solves the problem, how can I do it (on a plain (opensuse) Linux system) ?
2. How can I normalize the pressure to NN. Currently I add an constant offset of 5.25 to the values (height is approx 60 meters). But this is not exactly correct, one time, the pressure is a little bit too high, at other time to low (see LD002.png).
