LAN Addresses, 16 & 20 Bit.

I now have Spectrum Business Class Service which uses 20 bit LAN addresses like 172 .19 .0 .23.
I had to do this to get a static IP address, but now I fear, I may have created a monster!
Before I reset back to the default LAN address ( a 16 bit address like 192........), I would like to
know if my MeteoBridge will work with a 20 bit LAN address. Will it work with a 20 bit LAN address??
If not, if I get my own Wireless Router and use my own network (with 16 bit addresses and the Spectrum Modem), will I be OK with MeteoBridge??
