FTP upload not working. **solved**
Since this afternoon, my ftp upload isn't working.
I have installed a new SSL certificate on my website today.
But I don't think this has anything to do with my FTP uploads.
In my meteobridge on the services tab, I perform a test FTP upload, this works fine.
The test upload file is uploaded correctly.
The scheduled upload by FTP however is not working.
Also when the test button I receive message: Event #01 has been triggered manually, but on the live data tab the FTP upload does not appear it says:
FTP Upload: geen upload
I tried going back to version 3.8, no difference.
Now when I have the version control set to get newest on reboot, I'm still stuck in 3.8 though 3.9 is the latest version.
So I think my meteobridge is way off course......
Help.....
Thanks in advance, wsNoordbergum.
Edit: This is also the same with e-mail: test is ok but when manually triggered no e-mail sent and in live tab also no e-mail sent visible...

Re: FTP upload not working.
Not to suggest the obvious, but...
With "get newest on boot" selected from the drop down menu, are you forcing a reboot?
Have you tried <Save and Apply> first then <Reboot>?
Sense you are having issues with FTP upload, do you have other indications that there is an active internet connection to the 'outside world'?

Re: FTP upload not working.
Yes I have tried the first save and then reboot.
Also a power off power on toggle didn't solve the problem.
The FTP credentials are working, a ftp login with the meteobridge credentials does work.
It almost seems as if the FTP module of the meteobridge is stuck....
And yes, internet and my home network is operational..no problems with that.
I have just to be certain rebooted my modem and router.
Also http uploads and other services are running just fine, as is the data.
I hope the administrator can help.
Thank for the advice, wsNoordbergum

Re: FTP upload not working.
After some trouble shooting I've discovered that the SSL site is the problem.
Not sure why.
My previous certificate was due and I replaced it with a new SSL certificate.
The 2 certificates are overlapping, one is due 18-02-2019 and the new one is already active.
As a workaround I temporarily disabled HTTPS and my site is now HTTP.
As soon as I disabled SSL the FTP uploads are back....
I will revert to HTTPS when the old certificate is outdated which is next week.
Strange....
If the problem persists I will be posting again.
Have a nice day, wsNoordbergum

Re: FTP upload not working.
Thanks for the SSL heads up. I am in the process of updating a certificate myself.

Re: FTP upload not working. **solved**
The problem is NOT solved, I'm still having trouble with the periodical FTP upload.
If I turn off SSL on domain, everything is ok, worked for over a week now.
When SSL turned on on domain, no upload.
Past year I had the SSL on the domain, no problems what so ever, now new certificate.....nothing but trouble.
Also buffer of MB is filling up.
Getting no cgi response.....
Manual FTP upload is ok, test file is uploaded correctly.
New FTP account also no succes, only testfile succesfull.
Rebooting MB, makes makes no difference.
PHP version changed, makes no difference.
PHP turned off and on again, makes no difference.
New FTP service configured in MB, makes no difference.
Older version MB, makes no difference.
Reduced unnecessary serivices in MB, makes no difference.
I also contacted my provider to look into my problems...
Somehow the automatic periodical FTP upload isn't reaching the server because of the SSL domain.
Manual log in using filezilla with the MB credentials works fine....
Maybe something is hung in the MB process....
This is getting really frustrating.
Still needing help.....
With kind regards, wsNoordbergum.

Have you tried configuring/using SFTP instead?
Re: FTP upload not working. **solved**

Re: FTP upload not working. **solved**
Well, sorry for the late reaction.
The problem is solved, I have the directories to which I'm uploading excluded from https using a .htaccess file.
So the directories are non https.
This has no impact on the site itself.
I think the problem was caused due to "overlapping" certificates in other words, one was still active while the new one was also activated.
Now only one certificate.
I wil try to remove the .htaccess and see how MB behaves.
If I run into trouble, I will reply again.
wsNoordbergum.
