Timezone database is corrupt **solved**

Hi all,

My newly installed system is showing this error:

2019-06-16 08:43:12 Error: 2019-06-16 08:43:11 <br /> <b>Fatal error</b>: date_create(): Timezone database is corrupt - this should *never* happen! in <b>/tmp/mnt/PWS/MB/mbdbfiles/nanocron.php</b> on line <b>6</b><br /> (no more tries)

Not sure what to do from here.

For context, I'd just added a "local dashboard" in an effort to use the Weather34 dash. When I click the "local display" button, a new tab opens for http://192.168.150.139/PWS/index.php but the page is blank.

Weather Underground, Darksky, CheckWX and Open Weathermap configs appear to be OK.

Thanks.

That's abnormal. What does your Nano config settings look like?

Did you install some templates yourself? When porting the weather34 templates for direct use on the NANO I also got this error and had to work around it. When you are using the weather34 variant that comes installed with NANO SD, you should be fine.

No, no custom templates. I did a clean setup on a brand new system, yesterday. Added a few weather service upload destinations, that appear to be OK.

This morning I setup the local dashboard option. Saw the page was blank, then noticed the timezone error on the Live Data tab.

Are there any logs or config files that will help correct the problem?

I think this will need me to have a look myself. Could you please allow remote login and send URL and password to "info(at)smartbedded.com"?

That's very good of you, thanks.

Can we arrange a rough time window for this please? I don't like leaving any elements on my network open for any remote access.

Cheers,

I.

No elements are left open, simply change the password to something secure and different than you normally use and send it to Boris.
