Greetings.
I have a WeatherBridgePro that I purchased from Ambient Weather June 2017.
It is connected to a Davis 6163 VantagePro2 Plus.
For some time now I have been unable to access the device via browser.
I am able to ping it.
I am not able to access it at all via Firefox, but am able to access a partial System page with IE, but it will not open any of the device's other pages.
When the device is booted I am able to hit the landing page with both browsers.
I have rebooted the device multiple times, both cold and warm.
I have cold rebooted all of my network devices multiple times; router, switches, PC, and Jetpack.
The device is still sending data to several nets.
From the System page: SW Version 4.1 (Aug 31 2019, build 13123), FW 1.4
The lights on the device are as follows:
Top light is red and blinks occasionally
2nd light is red and steady
3rd light is amber(?) and blinks quickly occasionally
Bottom light is green and only blinks once in a while.
I would appreciate any information as regards resolving this issue.
If you have any questions, please ask.
Thank you very much for your time.
Doug
Addendum: I had discovered that the issue was only on the one computer. While I had tried everything I could think of from my 30 years of experience as a computer/network technician, I could not get the browsers on that computer to access the device. Since I had received no suggestions here, I finally gave up trying shortly after my original post of 31 August 2019, and used my laptop to access the device. Just the other day, it suddenly started working again. I have no real clue as to why it failed in the first place, nor why it began to work after over 3 months. I am left wondering as to the true nature of the issue, but with the assumption that it may have been some sort of strange DNS glitch. Will probably never know the cause.
Good day.
