"No weather network traffic" since installing Meteobridge 4.3 build 13509 **solved**

Post by WessexWeather »

Help!

I rebooted my Meteobridge today (29th May) to Meteobridge 4.3 (May 29 2020, build 13509), FW 1.4, and now no data is being transferred to Meteotemplate or any of my cloud services.

I have tried rebooting the device several times, as well as my router, and am at a loss what do do next.

Can anyone help?
Simon

it appears Meteobridge 4.3 build 13509 has a bug in it.

Somewhere between 29th May update and today this took hold of my NanoSD. In trying to recover it got in a persistent boot - not started state. [Red led fast flashing forever]. After many reboots and a reset to factory I eventually decided to remove the SD card. Only then did it boot.

My Nano(SD) is now on Meteobridge 4.3 (May 29 2020, build 3071), FW 1.4. Which seems to be transmitting. Although for one small moment in time it uploaded a load of zero-value/wrong-value data to various weather services.

I've had to order another Swissbit SD card to replace the Swissbit card that no longer works. I'm just hoping that it's nothing more fatal than a dead SD card ad that I won't have to go though all the setup again.

I tested the latest version with my NANO SD and can't see any problems.
I also doubt that the SD card is gone, we did not had any issues with any.
Fast flashing indicates that connection to the internet is somehow not working.
Can you you login from your WLAN and check messages section on "System" tab?

My issue was that, even if it connected to LAN and I could get to the admin interface, none of the tabs were loading (including "system"). It showed "Nano is starting up, sit back and chill" or whatever the actual words were. It never got past that point. Only by removing the SD card could I get the Nano to boot properly.

The SD card is now "raw" as far as both Windows and Mac OS see it. They both want me to format the card to make it useful.

the format of the Nano SD card is ext4 when in use inside the Nano.
