Request for beta tester of new sensor mapping feature. **closed**

Post by admin »

As you can see in the release notes (https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum) we are working on a new sensor mapping feature to replace the previous primary selection schema on "Min/Max Data" tab with a more versatile approach. As the changes also affect graphing, exports, weather networks, etc... I would like to give it a test drive to a few users first.
The ones facing trouble with the airXpm uploads are highly welcome here, as the new mapping should be an answer to this issue (I don't have an air quality sensor, so testing myself is hard for me without your support).

As before sending your Meteobridge MAC to info(at)meteobridge.com is needed to apply your Meteobridge to beta code. To fix bugs fast, remote access to your systems would also be helpful.

Thanks, I will investigate this. For the moment I think you will be able to depict the correct mapping from the given alternatives.

wiki is not up to date, yet. Please read here: https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum

short version: yellow is fine, it indicates that you manually mapped this physical sensor to a logical one.

But I think you did excessive, not needed, manual mapping. I would start using defaults (in green) and only map sensors manually, where needed.
