Raspi Meteobridge Aculink **solved**

Hi

I have been using the Aculink/Smarthub with meteobridge on the TL-MR3020 since the inception of meteobridge and have experienced no major issues with functioning of the unit even after the Smarthubs demise (using acuparse and have a dns override on my router to spoof the acurite hubcap site). I see that there is still an option to use the Aculink/Smarthub with the raspberry pi and I have set all the necessary options but cannot seem to get system to work.

Log from the meteobridge pi

logger (15.11.2020 16:51:50): connect station 0 (AcuLink via SW Driver).
logger (15.11.2020 16:51:50): connect station 9 (System Data via Plug-in).
logger (15.11.2020 16:51:53): waiting for sensors (wind0, rain0, th0, thb0) to provide data.
logger (15.11.2020 16:51:53): services paused.
logger (15.11.2020 16:53:53): give up waiting for sensors after 120 secs.
logger (15.11.2020 16:53:53): services activated.
logger (15.11.2020 17:02:20): child process received timeout signal (14).
logger (15.11.2020 17:02:20): disconnect station 0 (AcuLink): exit
logger (15.11.2020 17:02:20): disconnect station 9 (System Data): exit
logger (15.11.2020 17:02:21): data logger stopped.

Before anyone goes on to say that the acurite and the 5in1 is junk I can tell you I have had the same unit for 7 years with only one minor hiccup and that was soldering in a new temp/hum sensor after the original failed. Furthermore, the accuracy of the unit is fairly spot on as I am usually in sync with a neighbors Davis along with the local internatiion airport...so needless to say I would like to keep this old dog rolling with the robust features included with the meteobridge pi if at all possible.

Thanks for looking

Aculink is dead since years and only operational with additional DNS spoofing. If you give me remote login, I can have a look.

But to be honest, just drop this dead stuff the manufacturer has pulled the trigger on.
