Upload to weatherlink - creating the DID. **solved**

Post by bommelpommel »

Hi,
I would like to upload data to weatherlink and I can see that this is now possible on my Meteobridge. However I do not know how to create the DID ... I can see a reference in the forum, that the DID can be created via the weatherlink.exe. However I do not know how?

Any instruction how this is done?

You can go to Weatherlink.com and sign-up for an account if you don't already have one. You'll be able to get a device ID and Key when you add a new device (eg. a Davis Vue or Vantage etc.)

You can then use this information in your Meteobridge to add a Weatherlink (WL Cloud) weather network. You'll need to use this for the server url: wl6.weatherlink.com/bin.php

Once saved it will send data to Davis where you can see it on Weatherlink.com or via an app. If you want others to see your data on Weatherlink.com or keep the data there for historical purposes you'll have to part with significant monthly cash.

Go back to your weatherlink web page

On the right hand side of the web page your will see your station name

click on the little wrench gif

that will take you to device info where you can view your assigned keys
