reading the wiki gives you the answer:
For sensors delivering cumulated values like "rain0total" and "sol0evo" the following selectors are defined:

sum1, sum2, sum3, ..., sum60, sum1h, sum2h, sum3h, ..., sum24h: selects summarized delta values from the last one to 60 minutes or one to 24 hours. This is useful to get amount of total rain in a certain time frame: "rain0total-sum60" is rainfall in mm of last 60 minutes.
delta1, delta2, delta3, ..., delta60, delta1h, delta2h, delta3h, ..., delta24h: selects difference between current value and value from one to 60 minutes or one to 24 hours ago. A positive number shows that value has increased, a negative number indicates the value has decreased. This is useful to do trend analysis over various time spans.

th0temp is not a sensor with cumulative values - hence [th0temp-delta24h: -] will most likely not work.
Anyhow, if you wanted 12h you should have used delta12h - but again, th0temp is not a cumulative sensor/variable

But it's not clear to me what you want to do in the first place ....
Do you want to know the difference between the highest (max) and lowest (min) outdoor temperature in the past 12 hours ?
If you want this for the day (24h), then you could use the difference of th0temp-dmax and th0temp-dmin.
You may need to create an expression - see examples at the bottom of the wiki templates page.

I do it too and [th0temp-delta24h = c.1: -] works fine

look carefully at your output the temp24h is the same as the wind

now this kind of leads me to think are you running multiple api services mistakenly ? to the same file because the value changes in a matter of seconds
