Hello, on the instructions it is not clear how is this calculated. Clearly it is the direction of the max wind peak but it is not clear on which period it is calculated.
What is the expression which returns the max peak direction in the last 10 minutes?
Thanks
wind0maxdir

Re: wind0maxdir
As per the Wiki the sensor wind0maxdir only supports the selectors hmax, dmax, ydaymax, mmax, ymax and amax

Re: wind0maxdir
This is not giving error: [wind0maxdir-max10]
What data do you think it is providing?
Thanks

Sensor wind0maxdir does only support hmax, dmax, ydaymax, mmax, ymax, amax. All other selectors do not report useful data.

Re: wind0maxdir
When you think about it the wind "direction" max is always going to be 359 (as in almost but not quite due north). Hence the day/month/year direction max/min values will not have useful data.
Wind average/gust max is sensible with day/month/year as the values range from zero to top-end hurricane force where it rips your anemometer apart...

Re: wind0maxdir
I thought it gave you the direction from which the max wind for the period came - not max(degrees), but degrees at max(wind).
Re: wind0maxdir
Correct, Direction of the Maximum wind gust
