Meteobridge reporting live data from Davis Leaf/Soil station when sensors unplugged

When unplugging one or all of my soil temperature probes connected to a Davis soil/leaf station, Meteobridge still shows that data is being sent when looking under “Raw Sensor Data”. The ‘temperature’ it is reporting is simply the last temperature that was measured before the probe was unplugged.
For sensors like air temperature that are connected to the main Vantage Pro 2 ISS, Meteobridge correctly shows that no recent data has come in when one of those is unplugged (red number under “Signal” showing the duration the sensor has been unplugged).
Is there a reason this behavior of correctly marking data as old doesn’t worth with the soil station? I am using an Envoy 8x if that makes a difference and my Meteobridge is running the latest firmware (flashed on a TL-MR3020). I seem to recall this behavior working before I switched to an Envoy 8x, so I’m wondering if there’s a possible solution?
Thanks!
