Adding Historical Records. **solved**

Post by cheffy »

Hi,

I have just upgraded to a RPI from a standard meteobridge and I am struggling to find a way to update the historical records in the RPI version. In the meteobridge version you could easily update the records including a date and timestamp, however when I do this in the RPI version I am directed to the history section and I can't see any obvious way to input historical records which go back a number of years. The only year I can select is 2021, as an example, I want to add the record high temparature which occurred in 2019.

Is there a way to do this in the RPI version?

Thanks,
Neil

Boris means to say not supported in the interface. In the history hour/minute data section, you can only add records for the months of those years where already at least one entry for this month exists. You should however be able to import these data into the database using the History import/export function.
You have to create an import file in a structure imported by Meteobridge and then do the import. That should work.
For details see the WiKi section https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index. ... ata_Import
I would try this.
WH4000SE 1.6.6/1 x DP1500/4 x GW1000 1.7.7/GW1100 2.3.0/HP1000SE Pro 1.9.3//2 x WH2650 1.7.7/GW2000 3.1.0
2xMeteobridge Pro [B+R] 15161, 2xRPi4B-2GB/16/32 3139,VM128 1704

Thanks Gyvate....that worked.

I used the direct method to import some data into the prior years. Once I did that I can see them in history section.

Thanks again,
Neil

Thanks for thinking a bit further than I did. That way it will work.
