MB Pro+ sending data to multiple places

Post by Bagtjesen »

Hi,

I am getting a bit confused about versions(?) of MB PRO+ sold. I checked the config site and it looks great. However now I've seen f ex weerhuijse.nl sell at a base prise of EUR 379, and with options "sending to your own plug and play website" with + EUR 59 then listing WU, WOW and last WU+WOW +EUR 25.

From the config website info I thought already basically could deliver data to multiple places? And sending to MySQL too. Or, does it have too limited multitasking operations to do that? Already with my old Win-PC software I can send data to half a douzen sites?!

Regards,

There is only one version of Meteobridge and that can send to all mentioned networks. When I remember correctly, weerhuisje has defined an additional hosted service to display your data and this might be subject for an additional fee.
Meteobridge can operate multiple stations and tons of networks in parallel. As this is not realized by establishing a separate process/thread for each station or network (like the PC variants do if they can handle multiple stations at all) there is no risk of overloading (unless you want to feed 10 networks every second or so).

Thanks admin,

Just what I thought, but their and some others selling WB under different names seems just want to confuse the consumer...

Cheers,

I think they try to add something on their own - which is totally fine - to make the system even more compelling for potential users. May be this short thread helps to keep away confusion anyway.
