Hi,

unfortunately my MB suddenly stopped working, database seems to be not available anymore. Pls. see screenshots.
What has happened? Any chance to get the lost data back?

Nobody an idea? It seems that the internal memory or disk has crashed:

What are the details of the storage device on the Information>System page?

All my own templates are also missing and if I try to copy these to MB it says:

It says no space left on device. Is the storage full, or failed?

It's shouldn't be full rather failed. But what would be a solution? Is it hardware storage which failed? Any chance to get the data back?
At this time MB is not running correctly anyway, so it's useless.

Sorry I need to correct that as I mistook the RAM value for the Storage details which normally sits between the RAM & SW version lines. The unit is not recognizing the USB storage (at all) which does tend to indicate some sort of storage issue.

You could pull the unit apart and re-seat the USB but I suspect the USB is failed?

Do you know what make/model the USB in this unit is as these details are not showing?

If the internal USB is a consumer grade unit then life expectancy can be short. If a failed USB then would require a new USB. USB is not all that difficult to change out

What kind of stick was in the MB PRO? Was it the 1GB ATP SLC?

It is labled with: "ATP NANDDURA 1GB"

data written to \\METEOBRIDGE\data and its subdirectories uses space on the internal storage (on a MB Pro usually max 1 GB).

the simplest solution is to save/copy created exports onto the PC (when using Windows) and then delete data from the .\data\export directory
regularly to free space. The database directory and the export subdirectory are usually the directories with the biggest growth.
As the growth of the database cannot be reduced, the content of the ...\data\export subdirectory can.

Another option is to extend the internal memory by replacing the 1 GB internal SLC USB storage with bigger SLC storage (e.g. by an 8 GB (or bigger) SLC microSD with a USB adapter (I've extended mine with an 8 GB microSD)). Real SLC USB sticks of bigger size cost a fortune, hence the SLC microSD solution !

@WERTHE: the screen shot in your first posting ist missing the storage line. This indicates that USB storage has not been recognized during boot. Do you still have that symptom?
