sensors gone

Post by engelbert »

sensors gone.
after a hardware crash the sensors like outside temp, humidity etc are gone. Are also no longer in settings or mapping. How do I get it back.
I have a meteobridge pro and software: Meteobridge 5.4 (Jun 11 2022, build 14754), FW 1.4.
see Attachment.

Hi Engelbert,
Check the tab” Primary station”. Is the weather station selected correctly?
If all sensors are gone, the Meteobridge is not communicating with the station.
Could be a simple problem, f.i. a loose cable. So make a screenshot of that tab.

Also, what is shown in the system log?

Regards, Wim

To renew & concentrate upload of my sensor data recently purchased a Meteobridge/Standard.
Main objective to get an alternative uploader for data from my TFA_Nexus.
Connection of TFA_Nexus, Tempest and GW1000 seemed easy enough,
but the Meteobridge is frequently loosing the sensor-mapping, resulting in 'no uploads'.
Reset is easy & rude by power recycling, but the need to manually monitor & correct was not the intention ......

Error log is below.

Have seen similar topics/messages in this forum, but puzzled related to cause of the 'loss of mapping', because for TFA_Nexus the normal startup and upload seems to work for some time after reset. Other sensors not yet included in any upload.
Only (perhaps) suspicious aspect I see in the error log is that GW1000 is apparently not found at expected port 45000.
But read-out of GW1000 by other software seems OK ......

Only sensors that provide data are listed.

 GW1000-problem seems solved.
As result of reset GW1000 apparently shifted it's IP-address.
Had missed that shift: now (re)aligned.

Also found that via tab System > Administration you have access to a 'normal' Restart-button (at righthand-side bottom of webpage)

:( Learning curve .....
