TP-Link TL-MR3040 v2 rebooted and can't get out of landing page

Post by tomas21 »

Meteobridge user for many years running strong...Cumulus desktop pulls daily and meteobridge also feeds various weather34 templates with no problem for years.

Was happy running MB TP-Link-(5.2-14619) Davis Vantage Vue

As of this morning.

This morning I rebooted my TP-Link TL-MR3040 v2 and it will now no longer get out of the landing page... in the past, it would pull down latest firmware after a reboot and be on its merry way. Any ideas or tips to get it back up and running?

Hostname: MeteoBridge
Model: TP-Link TL-MR3040 v2
Firmware Version: OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r34065 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r9948)
Kernel Version: 3.3.8
Local Time: Fri Jul 29 08:09:18 2022
Uptime: 0h 1m 49s
Load Average: 0.41, 0.17, 0.06

Update.. I discovered the license was expired on my meteobridge and it hadn't rebooted since it expired 3 months ago...

The meteobridge came back automatically after 1-2 hours getting past the landing page finally.. not sure what it was doing but eventually loaded the pages to update license... I just left it alone for a long time without doing anything or checking.

Back in business.

Running out of Update license period should not have your Meteobridge stop operating. So I think there might be another issue between the Meteobridge and my server in the Internet. Good to know that you are operational again.
