no internet connection ** solved **

Hi Boris

Have just gone onto my meteohub, I have been trying most of the day, from work with no success. There appears to be a small problem, it keeps dropping the wan connection.

I can ping my router from work, but could not get onto my meteohub. Even now as I type I have tried, no problem, apart from time delay in reaching the nslu2. But the system states that there is no wan connection.

Any ideas?:unsure:

I just checked on your system. I can still reach your meteohub by \"http://your_ip/cgi-bin/meteohub.cgi\"

The shortcut \"http://your_ip\" does not work anymore because there is a fault in the \"admin.html\" that \"index.html\" links to. The admin.html in the /srv/www/ folder of your meteohub has been changed on 22th:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 106 Jan 22 20:51

This change has introduced an error into the file.
I have restored the file to its original contents.
I hope it is running fine now again.

Thanks for that fix, do you have any idea as to why this has changed, as I do not fully understand all that you have said.:unsure:

Has someone been on my system apart from you and me?:unsure:

Is the there any way of introducing a log file as and when and only by authorised users, I do not really whant to remove my web access or change my dns settings?

Hi Alan,
the file contained the string \"HELLO METEOHUB\" as a tag. So someone has changed the file. It was not me ;-)

If it is not you, then I strongly recommend to change your Meteohub password. You can do this by the web interface of Meteohub.
