RPi 4 Updates

Post by 2thepoint »

I've been experiencing RPi4 connection issues for a few months now. Several times a month the connection drops requiring either a reboot which is not a big deal or a power cycle which can be a pain. Would updating the RPi4 help?? Are there any other options I can try to stabilize the environment??
My isp config is stable and the MB ip address shows active on my router although MB is down.

thanks for any help....

If you are connected via WiFi there might be problems when your Router/AP does change WiFi channels on the fly. Most routers can have this disabled.

Admin,
NO wifi.....I believe the culprit was a bad ethernet cable that had a broken lock tab. Hopefully things will return to normal.

thanks for the reply.
