Meteobridge Pro and Weatherlink. **solved**

Post by BruceW »

I am a little confused. I am running a Meteobridge Pro current version 5.5 on the Meteobridge and I have it happily uploading to a couple of weather sites.
It is happily reading data from a Davis Vantage Vue weather station.
And then I thought I might try and send data to Weatherlink.com (Davs=is weatherlink that is.), one of the Meteobridge wiki's seems to say you can, but when I go to add a weatherstation to the Meteobridge Pro there is no Weatherlink in the dropdown list of weather stations which can be added.
I do not have a data logger in my Davis Vantage Vue console, Which is connected to a PC via USB and is uploading to Cumulus which is installed on that PC.
Things I read appear to say you need something like a METEOBRIDGE NANO installed in the Console.
Why would I need that to upload to Weatherlink, the Meteobridge Pro reads data from the Davis Vantage Vue weather station surely that is all that is required to feed a weatherstation like weatherlink.com I do have an account on weatherlink.com so I can get the ID and the key required why cant I find the weatherstation in the dropdown list?
Any advice is gratefully received.

The Meteobridge Nano will upload to WeatherLink (WL Cloud) as will a MBPro if connected via a logger to a Davis console, a similar query regard the MBPro2 and explanation can be found at https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic ... #msg453856

Thank you very much for the reply. I had been searching for any other questions on the forum but could not find one. Reading that post I understand now why I cannot use my Meteobridge Pro to do it. Ah well. :D
