Meteobridge Nano SD

Post by sebastian »

Hi there,

I'm new to the Meteobridge world, so still learning how things work. We recently purchased a MB Nano SD and I just started setting everything up with a Davis Vantage Pro2 console. I managed to give the NanoSD a fixed IP address and connect it to our network. The NanoSD runs Meteobridge 5.7 which I think is the latest version.

The problem I am having is that after a couple of minutes the meteobridge hotspot disappears from my list of visible networks and I can't reach it any more. The Nano's red light is solid. It comes back when I unplug the console power and plug it back in. I there a way to tell the Nano to keep the hotspot on permanently? This is also important for us because we will be deploying the weather station in a remote region where there is no wifi or mobile data available. So we will have to connect to it via the meteobridge hotspot.

Thanks for the help,
Sebastian

The NANO provides a WiFi Access Point for initial setup to a WiFi Client with the AP shut down after a short period for security purposes. The WiFi Access Point does have a Stand-Alone radio-button option under the Network Tab.
