I'm considering using the MB-PRO I have on my second station (TFA Nexus) and buying a new MB-PRO2 on my main station (Davis VP2).
The Davis is currently still running on a mini-PC with Wswin, since the MB-PRO unfortunately cannot replace all the functions of Wswin. Both are currently running in parallel. These are mainly the following points:
- the Meteobridge cannot record sunshine (measured value/maximum possible solar radiation=85% Wswin give a „maximal possible Solar radiation just now“ value)
- Astronomical and nautical twilight are not available as variables or I could not replace them until now.
actually only because of these two little things I have not replaced Wswin at the moment. I'm thinking of parallel operation with Wswin, whereby this only updates the statistical data once a day and then switches it off again.
could I connect the Davis console to the MB-Pro2 and at the same time evaluate the ground station via the RF receiver? Ideally, the console values should also be adopted if no Meteobridge data are available (ground temperature) the remaining values should be read from the console.
