Hello
I have a Meteobridge NANO SD running inside a Davis Vantage Pro2
Platform: Meteobridge NANO SD (awekas Version)
RAM: 125 MB total, 34 MB free (72% used)
Storage: WD SLC, 7.3 GB total, 7.1 GB free (3% used, 19.5 yrs)
SW Version: Meteobridge 5.6 (Jun 16 2023, build 4555), FW 1.4
I changed my broadband router today and it took me 30 minutes to configure the Meteobridge NANO SD to connect to the new router.
During this time we had 1.0mm of rain. Ever since, even after rebooting the NANO SD, the Davis Vantage Pro 2 shows a daily rain total that is 1.0mm more than the NANO SD console. Both are updating and the NANO SD is broadcasting to the Met Office WOW, but the figure there are also 1.0mm less than the Vantage Pro2 is showing.
Can someone explain a solution to this please? Do I have to manually edit the NANO SD database or something?
Thanks all.

Rebooting the Nano will not update the previous rainfall feed when there was no internet. It's sort of strange the NanoSD rainfall doesn't match the VP2 console after simply changing the WiFi connection, one wouldn't expect the Nano (as such) to disconnect from the VP2?
Anyway you could look at editing the Database>Edit Hour Data? In the Edit Hour Data window click on the hour value to wish to change and a window will pop up allowing the value to be edited/changed. Depending on the time evolved this might update the external totals, Yearly, Monthly? but not the particular day, table wise?

Thank you Mattk
I suspected that I would have to manually edit the data and thank you for those instructions.
I can understand how the problem has arisen, given that it's the Nano SD that keeps a database, but an option to 're-send' the last 24hrs of data from the Vantage Pro2 would be useful.
I wonder what would happen if the Vantage lost power. Where would the data from the weather station go and would it be lost for good?

If the Vantage loses power (completely, including battery backup) then so will the Nano. So the answer is, Yes; that data is lost.

Thanks both, that's most useful information.
