Raspberry PI 4B quit

Is it possible for the Raspberry PI to quit? It no longer will connect to the internet even though it's hard-wired. The red light flashes constantly with intermittent flashes. I flashed the card, and reinstalled the bin but still, nothing happens. I'd buy another Raspberry PI but first I need to know if it's bad.

Push in the SD card. Maybe it doesn't fit well in its case! I had the same issue at some point, and I solved it by pushing the card inward. It must be a very good contact!

I think the PI 4 has crapped out. Got my old 3 out copied the 3.bin and it worked so I got a new 4 ordered
