We've had a pretty consistent night of rain and early this morning in the UK, the clocks reverted from summer time to standard time at 2am. So at 2am, the clocks went back to 1am so effectively there are two periods of 1am-2am and today is effectively going to be 25 hours long.
This morning, my rain totals on meteoplug are missing the rain that fell in the second period of 1am-2am when the clocks went back (the Davis console has correctly captured this rain however):
I have a custom rain accumulation graph that is built by pull the rain accumulation every 5 minutes and from it, you can easily see the rain that fell during the second 1am-2am period, as the graph re-plots the rain that fell between 1am and 2am the second time around:
My question is, how can I get this missing rain back in my totals? We are heading for a record-breaking October and it's important that I account for this missing rain in my monthly totals as it could mean the difference between breaking records or not. Do I need to add a calibration for the missing 3.4mm manually or is there maybe a better way this could be handled within meteoplug?
Many thanks, Graham
