Weather Camera Upload Terminates Every Day

Hi Fellow Meteobridge Users,

Since about a week, my Ambient Weatherbridge stops uploading weather cam pics every day until I restart it. For every possible version of the picture link it states that

Error: Camera URL not providing data: http://192.168.xxx.xxx/cgi-bin/api.cgi? ... ssword=xxx

I tried https and also adding ports. When using the links directly in a browser they work.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

P.S. Seems like my bridge looses connection frequently for extended time with a good signal strength and speed and no problems with other devices…

Is the problem that Meteobridge cannot read the data from your camera or is it a upload problem regarding the Internet site?

The link that is setup through the camera works, but the meteobridge does not update the picture unless I reset it. To see if I got an improvement, I changed the network from DHCP to manual and used the correct fixed local IP from the router, the standard gateway, the local IP of the router, and 1.1.1.1 for DNS. Now, the meteobridge no longer connects, and I cannot get into it to change the settings back to DHCP. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Finally back. I needed to wait longer before reconnecting. Is there a way I can trigger a reboot of the meteobridge if it loses internet connection or a network upload fails repeatedly?

If you are on WLAN, tell your router not to switch channels. Thios should avoid Meteobridge being disconnected.

Unfortunately, I have Plume pods that do not allow much customization.
