Hello,
I have just migrated from a Davis WeatherlinkIP logger to the Weatherlink Live device. So, I switched to "Davis WLL" as my "Primary Station" in my Meteobridge PRO2. Under "Sensor Configuration" in the "Primary Station" sub-tab under the "Station" tab, I selected the "Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS)" option for "Transmitter #1", which then wants me to choose a "Rain Resolution."
There are 3 rain resolution options: 0.01 in, 0.2 mm, and 0.1 mm. What is the 0.1 mm option for? I have a Davis Wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus with 24-Hour Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield and UV and solar radiation sensors. I was under the impression that the rain tipping spoon of this particular station is either 0.01 in (imperial option), or 0.2 mm (EU/UK option). I have the EU/UK version. So, what is the purpose of the "0.1 mm" rain resolution option in Meteobridge?
Thank you for your help,
chrysnic

Re: Davis WeatherLink Live rain resolution in MB PRO2
Third party rain gauges can be connected/used with a Davis ISS. Some where along the line there may have been a request for a 0.1mm gauge resolution or it could be that the Rain Resolution drop down selection is standard across all platforms?

Ok, thanks Mattk.

Davis sells rain Gauges with differently sized rain buckets. Console can be adjusted to this size.
In Europe 0,2 mm is shipped by default, in US 0,01 inch is default.
