Problems with startup tl-mr3020.

Post by fernando_haller »

I have problems with a tl-mr3020 version fw 1.4. When it restarts due to a power outage it does not start again, it remains downloading and when it reaches 100% it restarts. My wh1081 weather station uses a 2.0 hub when it started without it, it starts normally but it is not very sure that it starts well since it does so with several USB hubs. Can I reinstall the meteobridge firmware without losing my license, I think the tl-mr3020 is failing

PS: my English is bad so I use a translator

Your passive USB hub might draw too much power and by that makes the MR3020 collapse/reboot when it kicks in WLAN.
Try with a better power supply for the MR3020, or try with another MR3020 or power the USB hub.

I am using the original 5v 1 Amp supply. But you could try doing a DIY to power the hub independent of the tl-mr3020 source. Thanks, I'll comment later on how it went. :D
