MBPro (Red) Reboots clicking Network Tab

Post by Mattk »

Have a MBPro (Red) which if the Network TAB is clicked, system immediately reboots through a normal startup procedure?

No issues noted with any of the other tabs/functions just Network? Clicking on the Network TAB does not always open the Tab but initiates basically a normal power up.

Any clues?

Unit is getting worse, running, sort of, RF is also very poor, very slow (10-60 second) RF update with a signal of 88-90dB (sensitivity max'd at 95dB) compared to other side by side units updating < 3-5s @ 48-50dB. Looking like a dead one?

I have the same problem as you. Click on the network tab on a MB Pro (Red) starts a reboot. I've also had the signal problems you mentioned.

Have you heard anything yet?

Thanks!

Reboots on network tab looks like a power supply issue. There is a scan on available networks when you click this tab, which results into a power demand spike. Did you try another power supply?

I would have been running a Stontronics switching adapter on that one, 5V ~2A

Also it is expected that a Firmware update will override (some) changes made via OpenWRT?
