Windows network not recognizing Meteobridge

Post by Stebi »

Hi
I use Metobridge on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Firmware Meteobridge 6.1 (Dec 13 2024, build 3456), FW 1.3 . Samba-Guests are allowed. "Windows workgroup" is named. Meteobridge is working properly.
For a couple of weeks I have no connection to meteobridge directories through the Windows network. On my network list my meteohub system is listed but not anymore meteobridge. I tried a FTP (Filezeilla) connection and a RealVNC Viewer connection. But I always got the message "Connection refused". I can reach meteobridge directories only by entering in my browser "IP-Adress/templates/" etc. Does anybody know how I can make meteobrige visible for my Windows network or how I can access meteobridge by FTP again?

Thanks in advance
Thomas

If you are referring to the SMB/Samba share from Win/OS you will find some differences between Win versions. Did you change OS and what Win OS are you using?

Unsure regard the Raspberry PI version but changes to WinOS security and SMB versions there is incompatibility between different Win systems and MBPro/Pro2. Download/Upload/Delete utilities were added to the Administration tab which handles the primary SMB file access requirements.

I think the problems started, when I installed the last Windows update. I will try it with the new possibilies in the Administration section.

Thank you.
