Just for comment and not sure if there is any logic in this but updated a MBPro from 6.2(15535) to 6.2(15564), triggered [Backup Now] and noticed all previous DB backups were gone/empty? System log was repeating the following and noticed (16GB) USB in [Devices] Front was not showing. There would have been around 500Mb (in total) of DB files, each size would have been < 36Mb hence was not full (as such).
Cleaned out the Front USB, rebooted the MB, re-inserted the Front USB, now showing on front panel and noticed a DB backup of the form dbase-202506020649(OK), not sure what the (OK) means as typically this would be something like (36M) which the latest DB backup is now showing.
dbase (02.06.2025 07:12:04): cannot rollback RAM (after 0 tries in 1ms): cannot rollback - no transaction is active (1)
dbase (02.06.2025 07:12:04): cannot insert into 'data10num_min' RAM (after 0 tries in 1ms): database or disk is full (13)
dbase (02.06.2025 07:12:04): rollback on insert forced (1) (min RAM): data10num

Re: MBPro Firmware Update - Front USB lost
Sounds to me as if the USB hub chip in the PRO got defective. I can't see any USB related changes between mentioned releases.
