Ambient Weather Network MAC and HTTP upload issue – Meteobridge 6.4 build 4380

I'm running Meteobridge 6.4 (November 3, 2026 build 4380), firmware 1.3, on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.

I'm trying to connect my Meteobridge station to the Ambient Weather Network using an existing device registration.

Background:

My station was previously connected to Ambient Weather through an Ambient WeatherBridge Universal WiFi IP Server. That unit is now completely disconnected. I would like to reuse its existing registered MAC address rather than create a new device registration.

What I've tried:

In Station → Settings, I entered the original WeatherBridge MAC address in the Weather Network MAC field and saved the settings. The alternate MAC remains saved in that field.
I configured Ambient Weather Network under Weather Nets.
The Ambient Weather Network configuration continues to display the Raspberry Pi's hardware MAC address, not the alternate Weather Network MAC.
I disabled Ambient Weather Network, saved, and then enabled it again. The displayed MAC remained unchanged.
I also created a scheduled HTTP Request event under Services, running once every minute. The event executes successfully, as indicated by the green check in Upload Status.
Ambient appears to recognize the existing registered device and returns its device information, but no weather readings are being uploaded. The device's lastData remains empty.

My questions:

Should the Ambient Weather Network integration use the alternate MAC entered under Station → Settings → Weather Network MAC?
If so, is this a known issue with Meteobridge 6.4 build 4380?
Is there a supported way to make the Ambient Weather Network integration use an existing registered MAC address?
Is there a supported HTTP upload method for sending weather readings to Ambient Weather Network from a Meteobridge Services event?

I want to retain the Raspberry Pi's original hardware MAC for Meteobridge licensing and do not want to alter or interfere with the licence configuration.

I'm hoping to resolve this without changing the existing station setup or creating another Ambient Weather device registration.
