meteohub frozen - no datalogging

Post by pguy »

Greetings;
My meteohub shut down after a power outtage and now doesn't datalog. The top of the settings page has:

Error file open: /var/run/wmr928d.pid: No such file or directory
Error file open: /var/run/dropbear.pid: No such file or directory
Error file open: /var/run/smbd.pid: No such file or directory
Error file open: /var/run/ntpd.pid: No such file or directory

Likely these are corrupted, so I tried the "Reset Settings" and "Restore Application Data". It rebooted but the same error remains.

Should I just wipe the USB stick and start over?

If you do wipe the stick (which might be your best option at this point), be sure to test it thoroughly with the utility on the Downloads page to verify that the power outage didn't corrupt the drive... apparently given the frequency of posts on here about corrupted USB sticks, they are prone to failure after power fluctuations!
