Upgrading Meteohub **solved**

Post by markhiseman »

I'm running V3.0, and I see there are V3.0a and V3.0b upgrades available.

Is it neccessary to install V3.0a before V3.0b, or can I go straight to V3.0b?

Mark.

No, it is not necessary, beacause 3.0 is in between 2.6 and 3.0a !

As explained in every update in the downloads page info ...

Remark on not licensed versions of Meteohub
Not licensed versions of Meteohub will run in a demo mode with these limitations in functionality until 15.01.2009:

just one graph definition can be stored and loaded.
weather network update interval is limited to every 3 hours
more restrictions might be introduced by coming releases.
After the 15.01.2009 unlicensed versions of Meteohub will just be able to accept an activation code, but will not perform any useful operation without a license.
Update to Meteohub Version 3.0b
This update can be installed by Meteohub's web interface in the maintenance section (tested with Firefox). If your browser doesn't support this correctly, try the alternative update process:
1. Copy the update in the "transfer" folder that Meteohub offers to on your LAN as a network drive.
2. Install this file with file-based in stall function. Path is "/data/transfer/[myupdatefile]"

Having done the update Meteohub does a reboot.

Applicable to the Versions:

Meteohub V2.6 - V3.0a

This is a bug-fix update for V3.0a:

Fixes a bug that inhibited selection of sensors th10-th20 for graph generation.
Fixes a bug in czech dashboard version. Dashboard now is version 1.9.

Thanks. I saw that, but I thought I'd check as its the first time I've done an upgrade. All done and working. Cheers!
