Hi,
I just got my new system all set up and I waited to order a USB/Serial adapter until I could try out the one I own. It is a Keyspan USA-19HS, but it does not work unfortunately. It works with the PC to Vantage Pro2 though.
The links you gave me for a FTDI chip are from shops in Germany, but I can't read any of the pages to try and find a match here in the United States. Can you tell me more about the kind of FTDI chip that I need to be installed into the USB adapter or who makes them here?
Thanks.

Here's a good source for FTDI cables in the USA.

I just ordered the 1 foot model for under $24 delivered.
** UPDATE **
Cable installed and working fine. :)
