NSLU2 hangs

Hello together!

After more than three months of error-free service my NSLU2 has problems. On some days the device hangs and nothing happens (2 times in the last week). I can also no longer ping the device. Only after disconnecting the power supply the NSLU2 is starting again.

The automatic night reboot is enabled.

Any ideas???

Your USB stick might be corrupted. That seems to happen frequently with some brands of sticks -- there are many references to corrupted data and weird boot-up failures in other threads on here.

I'd suggest getting a fresh stick, install a new image, copy your backed-up data over, and see if the NSLU2 starts working properly again.
