This message indicates that the data logging process has been halted or gets periodically restarted because no data can be received.

Please look at "meteohub log" entries on "log files" page. What does it say there?

looks like your RS232/USB converter is not recognized. What type do you use?

Then you can go for a cheap pl2303 based converter.

Try "ebay.com", search for "RS232 PL2303". They start from $7 incl. shipping.

All of a sudden after a reboot I'm also getting this error. My cable is obviously OK. In the main page I have the following errors:

Error file open: /var/run/loggerd.pid: No such file or directory
Error file open: /var/run/dropbear.pid: No such file or directory
Error file open: /var/run/meteonet.pid: No such file or directory
Error file open: /var/run/smbd.pid: No such file or directory

Log files are empty. I tried an web update and I get: "Checkinging md5sum of update 4.4 failed (generate diff)!". I can't access meteohub through SSH. Seems my meteohub system has gone havoc...

Is there anything I can do besides starting all over?

Well I reinstalled meteohub (again). Now I tried to restore my settings and this is what I get:

Wrong Format. Settings have not been loaded.

Unbelievable... I have several backups and none of them works. What can I do? And how do I restore the meteohub.backup file?
