Installation on Fit-PC without SSD or HD but with USB Stick

Post by lpfanton »

Hello,
I've bought a fit PC without SSD or HD. I've tried to install Meteohub on a USB instead of SSD or HD stick (I've used another USB stick for Meteohub describe in the documentation).

It doesn't work. Do ou know the good parameters in the firmware ? Is it possible ?

Thank

Hi!

I´m sorry, but I don´t know any parameters for using a USB stick as boot device.
But I had a lot of problems with the USB stick and the NSLU2. I was very happy with the fit-PC no longer use them. Why don´t you use a SSD? This is very secure and effective.

BTW, this was the main reason for me to switch from NSLU2 to fit-PC.

Regards

Then I'e tried to find an other solution.
