Download data to spreadsheet

Post by daveh »

I am running Meteohub on a NSLU2. I'm looking for a way to download data recorded on the NSLU2 to a spreadsheet file so I can combine it with other data recorded by other equipment.

For instance, I am looking to get the 15 min average temperatures with date and time stamps for a month long period.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks.

Many ways, for sure!

I read using Excel via MS-Query, and then you can process the info you need.

With ActiveSheet.QueryTables.Add(Connection:= _
"URL;http://www.myweb.net/all-sensors.xml", Destination:=Range("A60" ))
'.Name = "all-sensors"
.FieldNames = True
.RowNumbers = False
.FillAdjacentFormulas = False
.PreserveFormatting = True
.RefreshOnFileOpen = True
.BackgroundQuery = True
.RefreshStyle = xlOverwriteCells
.SavePassword = False
.SaveData = True
.AdjustColumnWidth = False
.RefreshPeriod = 5
.WebSelectionType = xlEntirePage
.WebFormatting = xlWebFormattingNone
.WebPreFormattedTextToColumns = True
.WebConsecutiveDelimitersAsOne = True
.WebSingleBlockTextImport = False
.WebDisableDateRecognition = False
.WebDisableRedirections = False
.Refresh BackgroundQuery:=False
.Delete
End With

or other files,such:
With ActiveSheet.QueryTables.Add(Connection:="URL;http://www.myweb.net/rain0-day1", _
Destination:=Range("rain0" ))
'.Name = "rain0-day1."
.FieldNames = True

You can take a look to:
