I'm still learning with my Alix 3d2 - but updated today from c to d and lost communications and access to my Alix - IP Scan showed it with the correct IP - but for some reason the auto reboot after upgrade didn't work...cycling the power did get it to work though.... Is that normal?

Thanks!

With ALIX 1D, v4.1c => 4.1d rebooted just fine.
You do seem to be having a tough time with your 3D2. :(

Thanks! Yep - so far my 3D2 seems to be okay as long as I don't make any changes... When I make or apply a change - the LAN connections drops off and in the process of setting it up I think I had to cycle the power on my Alix and my router 20 times.

Not sure if it's software or if it's the Alix - but I lose that connection and an unable to access the meteohub even though I may be able to see it as available on an IP scan....cycling power seems to fix it though.... When I went to version 4.1d - it seemed to reboot and even flashed the LED's etc....but I couldn't access it until cycled the power... Maybe Boris has seen the same thing..?

And of course the 3D2 doesn't have a monitor connection, so you can't "watch" it boot to see where it sticks. :(

I wonder if Log Files => System Log would give any clues about how far the failed boots got?
Maybe there is a pattern there?

AAMflyer, could you please grant me access to your Meteohub? That all sounds strange, I would like to have a look myself.

I don't have a probem with that - but that's a technical weakness of mine and not sure how to do that... I'll email/PM you so that you have my email address and perhaps you can walk me through it....I'm somewhat behind two firewalls with an ActionTec DSL modem and then a Linksys router then the meteohub.....

Thanks!
