Migrating from WD to Meteohub: setting alltime/year hist in
Posted: Sat Apr 11, 2009 11:13 am
Hello,
I'm new in Meteohub (2 days :) ). Before this I was running WD. Up to now, except for a couple of minor things, Meteohub is running smoothly on a NSLU2 connected to a OS WMR200 and sending data to my web page (including WDL; the page is www.juanalberto.arrakis.es/meteo, just in case you want to have a look at it) and to the Spanish Meteoclimatic station.
The only problem I have now is that I have lost the year and all-time records I had in WD (i.e. total year rainfall, min and max temp, etc.).
Probably you have already discussed this issue in a previous post in this forum, but I cannot find it.
I managed to set these record values temporarily by manually editing the hist-alltime and year1-hist (I'm not sure of the actual names) files under the meteohub weather directory, but these files are changed every time meteohub recomputes data, so my changes are lost.
I also read a post in the Meteoclimatic forum about a way to do this by setting "fake" calibrations for the initial values, but this also does not work on my installation.
So, does anybody have a clue on how to set historical records in Meteohub (older than the date when Meteohub starts running on my installation)?
Thank you very much in advance.
