I have unpacked a brand new NSL2. I had prepared to install Meteohub on it.

I have made the first small usb-stik with the newest firmware upgrade.
I have a 4 GB stick, and downloaded meteohub-v4.3-4GB.rar, unpacked meteohub-v4.3-4GB.dd

Then according to the documentation i shal use dd to copy the file to the usb-stick?

When i Google documentation for dd i get replies i dont understand.

Is there a command line sample in here somwhere?

dd is a linux command for low level copying

If you do not have a linux computer you could use the Windows dd version from the downloads section here at meteohub:
dd for Windows (Version 0.5)hot!

be careful: if you entering a wrong target disk, i.e. your boot partitions on your PC, dd will erase them.

I am running Linux but im not familiar with the dd command at all.

It the parameters, and options that I'm uncertain about. Should i use special blocksize or other options or is

dd if=/home/ole/file.dd of=/media/KINGSTON

sufficient?

Seems like this did it:

sudo dd if=meteohub-v4.3-4GB.dd of=/dev/sdb1

(Running ubuntu 9.04)
