Datafile use update 4.6c and 4.6d

After upgrade to 4.6c and later to 4.6d my datafile use increased rapidly from 40% to 65%, see attached graphic.
Normally to file grow was about 1% each week but with this grow the file is 100% in a couple of days.
What is going on??

My first guess would be logfile "meteohub log" (/data/log/meteohub.log) reporting socket communication errors. But this is a wild guess.

If my guess is right, just clear the logfile (can be done from web interface).

Thanks for the answer, you're wild guess is right, I've cleared all the log files and the use of the datafile is down to 37%....

After a while the file is growing again with a lot of those errors:
logger (03.04.2010 21:40:42): error while doing accept on socket 5557: Too many open files

Any idea what's the cause of those errors?

Just downgraded to update 4.6b because 4.6d caused a lot of errors as above and the signal gap was very high and a lot of communication errors.
This problem occurred on both of my stations
