Highest score "WindSpeed" 57m/s possible ?

After migration to WMR928 from WMR100
and from NSLU2 to x86-plattform, i decided to inspect some values to make sure everything worked OK !

Look at the enclosed pdf-document

WDlive displayed "Maxwindspeed ever" as 55 m/s 20090715 11:55

Inspected the wind-data for that period, no values at this level found
Marked all data "delete" and did a "recompute"

After this still no change in "Maxwindspeed ever"

Defined a grafh displaying windgust + windgustmin + windgustmax

displaying it and there are a "peek" about 55 m/s

Very strange to me !

I thought "windgustmax" was recalculated after deletion od wind-record for that period of time !

Anyone have a clue ?

Hi,
I think I've a similar problem...

I had some phantom gust of 183,6 Km/h with my WS-2350 station.
This data was recorded somewhere in my meteohub and is my intention to clear it.
I didn't found the wrong data in the raw file...

From port 5558 I read :

from the web server "Inspect data" menu I read:

.....

As you can see, is not present the raw data with time 002837 (the time of the phantom gust)
The same think occours also in the month1 and in the year1 (with other dates&time).
I didn't try to clear any data yet...

raw data is in UTC, time stamp in data from port 5558 is in local time. That might explain, why you have not found it so far ;-)

"Huereka" I´ve found it !

As often the solution to confusing results is simple and easy !
I have found the "error-datapost" located 2hr earlier within raw-data.
For me UTC is 2hr before localtime.
