Getting the following error while trying to parse my HTML template which is also attached so you can try and reproduce the problem.

The "[#]" in your template killed the replacing mechanism. I fixed this. Please try new update referenced below.
Using the "blanktheunknown" directive might not be what you are looking for, because this strips all square bracket enclosures Meteohub doesn't have a value for. That will destroy your array references in your php/javascript. I would recommend to use [varname:default] constructor, where default gets returned when Meteohub variable "varname" is not there. [varname:] will return an empty string when no value found for "varname".
