Weather Underground Rapid Fire not working

Using 4.6g Getting this error in alarm log:

weathernet: weather underground rapid fire: no response from weather underground

Whow, don't know why this didn't catch my eye before either, there is now 2 different Rapid Fire checkboxes both above and below Weather Underground settings. The first one is greyed out and can't be checked.

The upper rapid fire entry should read "Weatherflow rapid fire". These are rapid fire settings for weatherflow network.

Will be correctly named with next update.

Hopefully function is ok.

Ah. Yes, checking Weatherflow enables the first "Weather Underground" Rapid Fire box.

Realize that is just a typo, but perhaps related to Rapid Fire not working for Weather Underground?

WU rapid fire is working fine with my Meteohub. Enabling/disabling weatherflow has no effect on this.

When the message that WU cannot be reached appears just a few times a day, that is no reason for concern. It might have to do with your DSL connection going down for a short term to get a new IP (this is what most consumer DSL connections do in Europe) or it can be caused by some short outages of WU itself.

Caused by the cut down of my DSL connection each night I have about 2 minutes without internet connectivity which results to this messages. I see them every day. Apart from that, no WU connection problems are logged.

When you get lots of messages over a longer period, then you have to find out what is going on.

Thanks. yeah I realized that those messages come nightly when Weather Underground disables Rapid Fire at midnight. there is no interruption of the broadband that I use.

actually haven't gotten those messages since 4/29.. appears to be when it stopped working.

I found that the Time Synchonization had stopped for some reason. Went into settings and re-applied. Time Synced and Rapid Fire works again.

just an odd glitch I suppose.

WU Rapid Fire has stopped working for me too, since updating to ver 4.6g. First time that has happened....,I'll try to reboot and see how it behaves in the am.

next time this happens, please goto log file page and copy complete contents of "demsg" into a mail to "info(at)meteohub.de",

Thanks Boris, will do. The hard reset seemed to work...., Rapid Fire is now working.
