Hey guys, I'm having problems with my heat-index.
It gives the same as the actual temp.
Do I have to change the setup of Meteohub to get heat-index? My weather station is a Oregon WMR200.
Heat-index is the same as temperature

Re: Heat-index is the same as temperature
An update for others who wonder why the heat-index isn't working on the WMR200:
It only works when temperature is above 27 degrees, and when humidity is high.
I can savely say that the heat-index for my region probably never will work
Maybe others can confirm that the heat-index is working or not!?

No heat - no heat index
Please have a look at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_index

The heat index is calculated only if the actual temperature is above 27 °C (80 °F), dew point temperatures greater than 12 °C (54 °F), and relative humidities higher than 40%[4].

And similarly wind chill calculations are only valid in certain conditions too (temp <= 10C and windspeed >= 5mph if I recall correctly).admin wrote:No heat - no heat index
