WDL forecast

Post by Heuer »

Although Meteohub updates WDL it shows the forecast as 'undefined'

Is there a setting that will allow the Davis VP forecast to be forwarded? It used to work when I uploaded data via Weather Display.

Try setting:

<showDavisForecast>0</showDavisForecast>

in the WDLconfig.xml file to see if that works.

Already set to <0>. The forecast is there when I feed WDL from WD. Wonder whether Meteohub ignores the Davis Forecast?

As a next step, check to see if you have a text forecast for the meteohub's clientraw output: http://www.tnetweather.com/wd-parser.php -- item 49.

WDL does post the VP2 text forecasts on my web pages so this isn't a bug problem with meteohub, but must be a specific configuration problem.

Thanks - I will run the Clientdraw parser on the Metohub output. Currently I am connected to Weather Display which shows the following:

049 Weather Desc L Night time/Moderate drizzle

Once the "moderate drizzle" stops I will reconnect Meteohub and see what that says.

Having just upgraded to the latest f/w the forecast has appeared:

048 Icon Type Z 19 (Partly Cloudy)
049 Weather Desc L Increasing clouds with little temperature change.

However the current conditions and forecast are showing the same message!

Normally I would expect to see 'partly cloudy' as the current condition. Any thoughts?
