3 beeps but IP address assigned...

Hi,
Just installed on my NSLU2. When I start it up, I get 3 beeps (once the green light is steady).
The manual says this means it couldnt get an IP address, although the router has assigned one to it (I can tell due to its mac address)
I get a reply when ping the IP address, but the web admin page wont load.
Any ideas?

looks like a not correctly setup usb stick. did you use physical disk option with diskimage when selecting target drive?

I used the 2 usb sticks method on the NSLU2 - one smaller one with the .rar file on, and the other an empty 4Gb stick

Does this help? It's the log file from the 'small' usb stick:
Code: Select all
stickit started.

accepted file:/media/sda1/meteohub-v4.6i-4GB.rar

here is the IPLog:

Should I be able to read the contents of the 4Gb stick when plugged into my windows PC? (I cant).

Aha - I downloaded the image and wrote it to theUSB stick via my PC. Seems to work now.
Trouble is, the version has expired. I try to download the auto update (says 4.6p is available) but when I try to install it, there is no difference. Checking for new version sends me around the loop again.
